Every Third Thursday in Old Sacramento Waterfront, small business owners will open their doors to give you a peek behind the curtain, hosting 15-20 minute-long live demonstrations and artist activations at the top of every hour from 4–8 p.m.

Alaire Thomas is a podcaster, comedian, and content creator based in New York. She found her love for content creation in 2023 and has since built a community of over 2 million followers across platforms.

She is the co-host of Yap & Strap, a podcast that has been featured as the number one show in Andro Magazine. Alaire uses her platforms to share life experiences, her relationship with her fiancé, and anything that might help brighten someone’s day.

Originally from Los Angeles County, she moved to New York to finish school and begin her creative journey.

The Sacramento History Museum will be open to homeschool groups to participate in some of our educational school programs on November 5, 2025 and February 4, 2026! Homeschool Days will start at 10:00 am and go until 3:00 pm, with check in at 10:00 am.
